Appalachian Trail 2004
I also thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine. You can read my journal from that hike, and look at the photos I took.

I'm too young to be going through a mid-life crisis. Yet I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
I'm thirty years old, and had so much fun on my last long hike (Appalachian Trail, see the left sidebar for a link to my journal) that I'm going out again for another! I'll let everyone else have 2.3 children and a corporate job; I'm fine with working to save up money in order to take off five months at a time and actually LIVE.
If this hike goes along the same lines as my last one, by the time I finish I won't even want to walk from the sofa to the fridge, but a month later I'll be chomping at the bit to get out there again. So it goes. Live to hike, hike to live.
